CCDSS, a collaborative initiative between UNL's National Drought Mitigation Center and USDA ARS, is designed to enhance agricultural decision-making through advanced simulation modeling. Our system helps users optimize cover crop strategies, improve soil health, and boost crop productivity by providing data-driven insights. Tailored specifically for producers, farm managers, and agricultural researchers, CCDSS equips its users to make informed decisions that support sustainable farming practices and climate resilience.
Why CCDSS?
- Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage robust crop models to plan and execute cover crop strategies effectively.
- User-Centric Design: Developed with input from farmers and agricultural experts to ensure practicality and ease of use.
- Sustainability Focus: Aims to improve agricultural sustainability and ecosystem benefits through innovative technology.
